Last Friday, Mr Hardip let us watched a lot of funny advertisement.
Seriously, I never thought about that advertisement can be so funny.
Although it is funny, but it also can transfer the information that the producer wants to transfer to their audiences.
If they produced an advertisement with a serious mode, people will find it boring and won't have the mood to watch it again and agin.
That's why advertising company always needs to come out with many creative idea to attract their audiences.

Click this link :- McDonald's AD
This advertisement is talking about there is a couple that the boy loves the girl so much. Even the girl accidentally dropped her flower into the sea, the boy just jumped into the sea without any hesitated and find the flower back to her. Besides that, the boy even accompany the girl went shopping and helped her to push the car that without fuel. They look like a sweet couple but then everything had changed when they went to McDonald's. If you want to know what had actually happened, just click the link and find out everything!

Actually, advertisement is not only for those company to promote their new products, it also can be to encourage society to look after the environment. For example, this Save Energy, Save Earth advertisement by Super Junior. It came out with a song rhythm that easy for people to addicted it and funny acting.
"One! Don't leave your unused computer on, ENERGY IS LEAKING! Two! Use public transportation when going out! THINK ABOUT OUR EARTH!"

So, SAVE ENERGY, SAVE EARTH! Advertising is doing everything to protect the earth!

Thing that people can't live without it.

Whopps! What's the thing that people can't live without it?
Don't talk about oxygen, water, electric! Be creative! It's NEWSPAPER!

Maybe nowadays people loves to read newspaper through iPad, iPhone or internet, but let's talk about my dad my mum's generation, they can't accept if they need to read newspaper through those things. And not only my parents, I also prefer to read printed newspaper. I love to flip through one page to another page and feel the effort that those newspaper editor did it just for their readers to know what news exactly happened in the country that they lived. Besides that, Sin Chew Daily is the newspaper that my family read.

Now, newspaper not only gives public important news about the country that they lived and worldwide news, they also making effort in publish something to wish people HAPPY BIRTHDAY! This is a great idea to wish your idol Happy Birthday through newspaper and it's very meaningful. The picture that I attached beside is the newspaper in Malaysia named 'GuangMing JitPoh' that really published a advertisement to wish South Korean boy band Super Junior's Yesung HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (It's sponsored by Yesung's Malaysia fanbase - listen2yesung) Of course, you need to paid money before they did it.
(p/s: as a fans of Super Junior, I do bought this newspaper and the picture that I attached is really taken by me!)

Don't always think that printed newspaper is old-fashioned stuff. It has became more and more creative than you expected!

The Limited Effects Theory - Attitude Change Theory?

Today, I'm gonna talk about 'Attitude Change Theory'.
What is 'Attitude Change Theory'?
Hmm. People can find the sources or definition of Attitude Change Theory via Google so I won't explain so much. Now, I will just give out a example and experience about Attitude Change Theory.

Nowadays, people loves to go shopping. Not only window shopping but really spend money to buy something home. Maybe it can be a 'disease' for those people especially girls that love to buy something each time they go shopping. Don't bother if the thing is useful or useless, pretty or ugly, everything in shopping mall is so attractive towards girls! So, it's easy for girls to being regret for buying something that actually they don't like it but all because of that SHOPPING DISEASE!

I did it before when I'm in secondary school. Each time I did it, I will be scolded by my mum. She will said"I thought you love this dress so much but why I didn't see you wear it for just one time? The dress always be hanged in your wardrobe!" and I will be like"Sorry mum, I don't like it already. It is so old-fashioned!" So from now on, I will think twice when I'm shopping. It's avoid to spend too much money to buy something that is useless and ya, it's also to avoid be scolded by my mum!

So, this is my opinion about 'Attitude Change Theory'. Hope you guys won't get addicted to the SHOPPING DISEASE that I mentioned about!

Taboo!

What is Taboo?
Hmm. Actually, I can't answer this question before I played the game in our tutorial class on last Tuesday. But now, I can tell you that this is a fun word guessing game that I had played ever!

Taboo, is a word guessing game published by Hasbro in 1989. And yea, this is just my introduction about Taboo since everything about Taboo you can just search it in Google.

So now, I wanna talk about what am I thinking about when I'm playing Taboo in front of the class.

First, when I knew that Mr Hardip wanna let us play a word guessing game and I'm telling myself that 'I DON'T WANT TO GO OUT AND PLAY THIS GAME IN FRONT OF THE CLASS!!!!'. But when it reached my turn, I was just 'Hmm. Just take it easy.' But basically, this game is not as hard as I think. For me, I think that I'm a person that lack of creativity and describing, but when I'm truly participating in this game, my brain do works! Yeah! My brain do WORKS! It is fun and motive as this is a word guessing game, not just a meaningless game.

So, for those who haven't try this game, feel free to try it when the game is available beside you. You can call on on your group of friend and play it together!

Delicatessen..

Last Friday, my lecturer played a French movie named "Delicatessen" in the class. It is such a horror movie in my first thought because in the intro, there are a few scenes that showed how the people ate human flesh and I don't know why they want to eat human flesh!

After watching the movie, seriously, I have no idea what is the movie talking about. And many of my friends are very confused about it. So Hardip let us go back and do some research about this movie. After doing these research, I'm now 70 out of 100 percent knows what is the movie talking about.

First, the setting of this flim. It is set in an apartment building in a post-apocalyptic France of an ambiguous time period. It is a film that directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet and Marc Caro, starring Dominique Pinon and Marie-Laure Dougnac. Dominique Pinon as Louison and Marie-Laure Dougnac as Julie Clapet.

The things that I admired about Delicatessen is they don't revert to making it a horror comedy on gore and horror. It is not a film that's going to have many fans will drooling over it but it is a film that a lot of films that miss that point and Delicatessen get it right on so many levels. If you want to know more about this film, feel free to watch it and I'm sure that you won't regret! Click the trailer :- Delicatessen (1991) Trailer

GENRE

In this 21st century, people had more freedom to choose what genre of song that they want to listen to. Even though there are many genre of song but basically not every genre that can catches us.

For example, there are ballads, A cappella, rock, pop, electronic and many more.

Actually, I have no particular preference to the genre of songs. As long as the song's rhythm can catch my heart and yeah it is enough already. But the most most genre of song that I prefer is A cappella.

After I'm falling in love with the song rhythm, then I will go and take a look at the lyrics (because basically I'm listening to K-pop songs).

So here is the A cappella song that I love the most :- Super Junior - Lovely Day (Acapella Version) (p/s: feel free to click 1080p hd for the FULL HD version :P )

A capella, in Italian it is the meaning of "In the manner of the chapel". It is a solo or group vocal or singing without instrumental sound, or a piece intended to be performed in this way.

The reason that I'm easily falling in love with A capella song is because it is a genre of song that can makes people feels pleasantly and enjoyable. It is a part of life for human to relax since we are all living in a hastiness society. So I'm totally recommend A capella song for my friends to listen to it!

Review of movie - I AM

According to Wikipedia, it's a biographical film on 32 SM Town K-pop artists on their journey to become the first Asian singers to stage their milestone SMTown Live '10 World Tour concert at Madison Square Garden in New York. The film was originally schedule for release in South Korea on 10 May 2010, but was postponed  to 21 June 2012, due to audio issues. The movie reflect the past, present and future of each artist with behind-the-scenes footage that follows the stars as they undergo rehearsals, revealing their day-to-day lives and also features interview, video diaries and never-seen-before archive files.

Due to Malaysia was not in the movie screening country list so I went to Singapore purposely just for this movie. And ya, if you're looking for something more than just a concert experience, I AM is one movie that you should not miss.

Feel free to click this link to watch the promotion video :- I AM Trailer

Made up of concert footages juxtaposed with behind the scenes stories of various SM Entertainment artistes, the documentary is an eye-openers for those curious to know about more their favourite idols. I AM not only gives you a rare glimpse into the blood, sweat and tears that these Hallyu stars have pumped into their career, but also brings you on an insightful journey into the internal conflicts that rise among themselves. The audiences will also see never-seen-before footages of the day of debut of Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee and f(x). The video clips will make you laugh and cry as you witness the painstaking hardships that these stars had to endure during their trainee and early debut days.

Besides that, on April 24, SM Town released the film's theme song "Dear My Family", along with its music video. According to Wikipedia again, it is a remake of the song of the same name from Yoo Young-jin's 2001 third album and 2002 Winter Vacation in SM Town - My Angel My Light performed by Kangta, Moon Hee-joon, S.E.S, Shinhwa, Fly to the Sky and BoA. The 2012 version is performed by BoA, Kangta, TVXQ, Yesung of Super Junior, Taeyeon of Girls' Generation, Jonghyun of SHINee, Luna of f(x) and Luhan & D.O of EXO.

Semiotics..

This is a fried chicken's advertisement by Kyochon Chicken.

This is a fried chicken's advertisement by Kentucky Fried Chicken.

So what's the difference between these two advertisement by two different Fried Chicken's shop?

For the first one, Kyochon Chicken use South Korean boy band - Super Junior to be their spokesperson and there is no even a single fried chicken in their poster and maybe they're just using the artist's popularity to increase their sales. But for the second one, Kentucky Fried Chicken just uses a bucket of fried chicken as their 'spokesperson'. How to say, it's like Kentucky Fried Chicken already have their own logo that they no need to hire any famous artist to promote their own brand. People will knows even though they have no any promote advertisement but juts looking at the 'Colonel Sanders' face and people will knew it "Oh! It's KFC!"

By the way, I don't think people will knows 'Kyochon Chicken' this brand unless you're a Super Junior's fans or a Korean because it's a Korea's brand.

That's all about my explanation of Semiotics. Hope I didn't go off of the topic!
